We started this ministry as a family because I’ve seen so much money spent on Christmas gifts every year. Here in America, we don’t bat an eye on spending $400 on a game console our children will get bored of in a week.
My mother in law really loves helping people, its her life calling. I thought, let’s do something together to get more done. So we started thinking, let’s get Christmas Gifts for 30 children.
Then, as we began to partner with a small church in Loma Blanca we realized, okay, 50 children. Then they were working with a small orphanage of 19 children. Then we found another one and another one. We are up to 100 children now. Amazing how God has other plans for you.
Now we get off the phone with my Father in law today and find out, those 19 children have reduced to 15 and they are losing the house they live in. Where will they go? What will we do?
We want to build a house on a plot of land for them. A house that can house 20 children and still be utilized for the weekly feeding project on Saturdays of 50 or more children and their parents. We want to build an orphanage.
Please pray with us that we can accomplish all this by the time it gets too cold for the children… They are in need.
